"Nothing Will Come of Nothing" (Chapter Three, A Light Drama) At the Cafes, Les Deux Magots

We are now into Chapter three of the story, and Evens' lady friend wants to have breakfast after a disappointing night. It was a warm summer night and I sat at an outside table on the covered entrance of the Cafe de Fore, Tony had just left, and Bernadette was watching me get drunk and the electric lights on under the terrace that read in neon lights, "Cafe de Flore," switched on, there was a stop sign and traffic lights I was watching in front of our table, and a crowd of people walking by taxis pulling up and pulling out and dropping off folks for evening dinner, on two sides of the cafe.
